Ingenium Blended Learning
In SY 2022-2023, Ingenium School will move to blended learning. This setup will combine the advantages of online learning to enhance the best practices of face-to-face learning.
What will classes look like in SY 2022-2023?
Students in the Preschool, Grade School, and Junior High School will enjoy a blend of face-to-face and online learning from August to October 2022. By November 2022, as mandated by the Department of Education, Ingenium School will have five days of face-to-face classes per week.
From August to October 2022
3 Days Face-to-Face
Students will attend face-to-face classes three days a week. It is crucial that students return to school to socialize with classmates and teachers. Students can also expect more engaging activities which take advantage of the school's first-class learning facilities.
2 Days Online
Students will attend online classes two days a week. During online classes, teachers will ensure students remain fully engaged through well prepared lessons and activities. Teachers will continue to maximize the tools that allow for deeper communication online.
November 2022 Onwards
5 Days Face-to-Face
Given the latest instructions from the Department of Education, Ingenium School will return with face-to-face classes, five days a week, by November 2022. Students in all grade levels of the Preschool, Grade School, and Junior High School, can look forward to a safe and enjoyable return to in campus learning!
Primary Considerations and Guiding Principles
In making the move towards blended learning in the midst of still fluid circumstances, Ingenium School is guided by the following primary considerations and guiding principles.
Ensure safety of students and personnel
Young students critically need socialization. At the same time, their safety and that of their teachers must be assured. In addition to DepEd’s instructions, the school has developed its own safety protocol to ensure a safe and enjoyable return to school.
Use advantages of online and face-to-face learning
Ingenium Blended Learning will retain the best features of online learning to enhance the best practices in face-to-face learning.
Ensure flexibility in implementation
To manage uncertainties, Ingenium School is prepared for a flexible implementation of blended learning.
Keep in close consultation with parents
The school will continuously consult with parents throughout the implementation of blended learning.
Continuous research and learning
Ingenium School continuously evaluates the implementation of its blended learning even as it monitors and evaluates the latest developments in other countries and other schools.
A Safe Return to School!
A safe and enjoyable return to face-to-face learning is what Ingenium School aims for. In preparation for the return of students, improvements to school facilities were made to comply with all health and safety requirements imposed by the Philippine government. The following improvements have been made:
- Rearranged seats to be at least 1 meter away from each other
- Improved ventilation throughout the building
- Signs to manage foot traffic in hallways
- Paddle signs as non-verbal reminders on health protocols
- Designated entrance and exit doors in each classroom
- Hand signals for safety
