Preschool at Ingenium
The Preschool Department is composed of three levels: Nursery, Pre-Kinder, and Kindergarten.
The Preschool is housed in its own building built in 2017. The hallmark of an Ingenium building is evident in its open and airy environment. Spacious classrooms, attractively color-designed, are called home by our teachers and young learners. Each is outfitted with its own toilet, TV and audio equipment, and custom-designed furnitures. Like the Grade school and High school building it boasts of 100 mbps wifi.
Small classes are critical for the holistic formation of each student. Thus, class sizes in the Preschool are limited to 10 to 12 students for Nursery, 13 to 16 students for Pre-Kinder, and 17-19 students for Kinder.
Personnel
The Preschool Department is headed by the Preschool Coordinator who looks after the entire unit.
Each class from Nursery to Kindergarten has two (2) dedicated teachers, with additional teaching assistants on hand when needed. In addition, a school nurse is also available
Daily Schedule
Depending on the grade level, there are two (2) class schedules: Morning and Mid-Day. Please check directly with the Preschool for the schedule. Each schedule consists of three (3) hours study and playtime, with a snack break in between.

Philosophy
Both progressive and traditional methods are employed in teaching. In particular, teachers use the Vygotsky theory of Education which helps them to understand what each student is able to achieve, and thus enable them to help the child attain the next developmental level by themselves.
